Don't be pushing them

Slow down to let your patient catch up, they might not be quite ready for you yet.

Yes, your patient may have booked an appointment knowing they needed treatment.

That doesn’t mean they are ready to take on the world.

You need to move at their pace and accompany them on the journey, not be pushing  them along.

Make them a fellow traveller.
