I had to take an impression the other day, with actual silicone impression material, in a tray.
It was quite stressful and I’m so glad the future is here to make life easier for us with scanners!
I would not want to go back to the old days.
You could argue that we all did ok with impressions, it's a dying art, it's an essential skill…. but we need to move on as a profession. We used to get around in horse and carts as well; just watch Bridgerton.
Anyway I came across this account on Instagram and am a curious follower as I’m just not sure where this fits in the dental landscape, most probably the same place as beauticians doing tooth-whitening… or Smiles Direct.
You have to admit this girl takes a mean impression and I could have done with her help the other day.
Life does not have to be hard and we need to look for ways to make our lives less stressful as dentists.
As to the whole Grillz thing, I’m not sure about that.
